Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that can suppress generation of an abnormal sound in an ECU regardless of the design of a circuit board.SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises an electric motor that generates auxiliary steering torque and an ECU that controls the electric motor. The ECU comprises a housing, a circuit board that is arranged inside the housing, a metal cover member opposing to the circuit board and a vibration absorbing member that is arranged at a space between the circuit board and the cover member. The vibration absorbing member comprises a body part and two arm parts protruding from the body part in opposite directions to each other. A length of the body part in a height direction of the space is smaller than a height of the space, and the body part is supported by one arm part contacting the cover member and the other arm part contacting the circuit board. The arm parts are cone-shaped hollow members whose outer peripheries gradually become larger as separating from the body part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
