Abstract:

To provide an electric power tool preventing entry of foreign matter from an air hole.

This electric power tool comprises: a motor driving a tip tool; a fan 32B driven by the motor; and a body part 2A having the motor and the fan 2B built therein. An exhaust hole 22 opened and positioned near the fan 32B is formed in the body part 2A, and the exhaust hole 22 is covered with a grid member 22A. The grid member 22A comprises three long members 23A, 23B, 23C, and is located outside a body part 2A inner surface. The three long members 23A, 23B, 23C are arranged in a staggered manner in the section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. A frame 23E protruding from a body part 2A outer surface outward beyond the grid member 22A is provided around the exhaust hole 22 in the body part 2A.
