Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric booster having improved reliability.SOLUTION: A housing 10 provided to an electric booster 1 has a fitting plate part 31 on which an output shaft 135 of an electric motor 6 is rotatably supported and on which a screw shaft member 105 of a ball screw mechanism 5 is pivotally supported. In the fitting plate part 31, a transfer mechanism 11 is located on a front side as one surface side of the fitting plate part, and a conversion part 108 in which a nut member 106 of the ball screw mechanism 5 and the screw shaft member 105 are engaged with each other, is located on a rear side as the other surface side. Thus, abrasion powders from the transfer mechanism 11 can be restrained from entering the conversion part 108 in which the nut member 106 and the screw shaft member 105 are engaged with each other, and consequently, reliability of the electric booster 1 can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
