PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water heater for the hand-washing of a low tank, in which no check valve, etc., is required, by which a user can be supplied with hot water at the temperature of hot water comfortable for the user as hot water for the hand-washing of the low tank and which needs no new space.
SOLUTION: In an electric water heater for the hand-washing of a low tank, water from a feed water pipe 11 is heated by an auxiliary tank 3 with a heating body 13, and heated hot water is supplied from a discharge opening 15 in the upper section of the low tank 1. A path being branched from the feed water pipe 11 in the low tank 1 and feeding the discharge opening 15 with hot water through the auxiliary tank 3 is mounted. In the electric water heater for the hand-washing of the low tank 1, water in the low tank 1 is heated, and supplied from the discharge opening 15 for hand-washing formed to the upper section of the low tank 1. A parting plate 35 installed into the low tank 1, a heating body 13 heating water fed from a small hole 37 formed to the parting plate 35, and a hot-water delivery pipe 9 for supplying the discharge opening 15 with hot water heated by the heating body 13 through a pump P are set up, and the pump P is operated and stopped by a sensor 39 fitted near the discharge opening 15.
