PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device including a plurality of microcomputers capable of detecting the abnormality of a communication bus.SOLUTION: An electronic control device configured as one of a plurality of nodes connected to a communication bus includes a first microcomputer and a second microcomputer for receiving a transmission signal flowing through the communication bus, and for transmitting the transmission signal to the communication bus. The electronic control device is configured such that the transmission signal to be transmitted to the communication bus is transmitted to each microcomputer without passing through the communication bus, and the transmission signal is received by each microcomputer. Each microcomputer is configured to detect whether or not abnormality has occurred in the communication bus in accordance with whether or not a response signal is received from the other node. The first microcomputer is configured to, when a non-reception time when the transmission signal to be transmitted in a preliminarily set transmission cycle is not receivable exceeds the transmission cycle, estimate that abnormality has occurred in the communication bus (S11). The first microcomputer is configured to, when estimating that abnormality has occurred in the communication bus, put the second microcomputer in a transmission disable state (S14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
