Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved structure for universal serial bus devices.SOLUTION: An improved structure for universal serial bus devices comprises a housing, a circuit board, a temperature sensing element, a port unit and a plurality of port pins. The circuit board is arranged in the housing, and the temperature sensing element is linked to the circuit board. The port unit is arranged at an end of the housing, and the port unit further has an extending part that extends as far as to come into contact with the temperature sensing element. One end of each of the plurality of port pins is linked to the circuit board, and the other end is arranged within the port part. Of these constituent elements, the extending part transmits the temperature generated by the plurality of port pins or the circuit board to the temperature sensing element and, when the temperature has reached a prescribed level, the temperature sensing element actuates a circuit opening mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
