Title:
ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE POLYAMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR WELDED PART OF AUTOMOTIVE FUEL SYSTEM AND ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE MOLDED ARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000038505
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electrically conductive polyamide resin composition suitable for producing welded parts of the automotive fuel system that are sufficiently excellent in the resistance to calcium chloride, which is the property required for parts of the automotive fuel system, and that are further excellent in a good balance of electrically conductive properties and weldability and in mar resistance and also provide a molded article formed therefrom and a weld hollow molded article formed by vibration welding of a plurality of the molded articles.

This electrically conductive polyamide resin composition for welded parts of the automotive fuel system is produced by blending, based on (A) 100 pts.wt. polyamide resin that contains an amide structure unit derived from a 6-12C aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diamine and a terephthalic acid and has the number of carbon atoms per one amide group (the concentration of the amide groups) of 6 or more, (B) 2-30 pts.wt. carbon black and (C) 0-80 pts.wt. carbon fiber. In this case, the composition has a volume resistivity as measured by the method ASTM D257 of not more than 1×108 (Ωcm), a weld strength of not less than 200 kg/cm2 and high resistance to calcium chloride.
