Abstract:
To provide a power storage system capable of more efficiently charging a plurality of power storage units by a solar system during autonomous operation even when more power storage units are installed than those in the solar system, and a control method for the same.SOLUTION: A power storage system 100 includes a switching unit 108 for switching a supply destination of output power so that the output power is supplied to any one of a plurality of power storage units 102 and 104, and a controller 106 for controlling the switching unit. Each power storage unit includes storage batteries 122 and 132, and converters 120 and 130 for mutually DC power and AC power to each other. During autonomous operation, an input output power of an AC power supply is supplied to specific loads 194 and 196 corresponding to the power storage unit. The storage battery of the power storage unit is charged with surplus power via the converter of the power storage unit. If there is no input of AC power supply, the power of the storage batteries of the power storage unit is supplied to the specific loads via the converters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
