Abstract:
To ensure a stable development characteristics despite a change in the electrostatic capacitance of a photoreceptor drum which results from a change in the film thickness of the photoreceptor drum caused by abrasion.
The electrophotographic device checks an electrifying current flowing in a photoreceptor due to electrification, an electrifying potential of the surface of the photoreceptor and a developing current flowing based on a printing check pattern. Thus, the electrifying potential provided by an electrifier and a development bias are controlled.
