Abstract:
To provide an electro-optic device allowing the display size thereof to be easily changed.
The electro-optic device includes a plurality of electro-optic panels each including an electro-optic substance held between a pair of substrates, and a control part connected to at least one of the electro-optic panels, wherein electro-optic panels adjoining to each other are electrically connected, and each electro-optic panel is electrically connected to the control part directly or via other electro-optic panels. The control part transmits a confirmation signal to the all electro-optic panels and receives a response signal from each electro-optic panel that receives the confirmation signal, and thereby, obtains the number of electro-optic panels.
