Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suppress the temperature rising of an electro-optic device irradiated with incident relatively strong projection light in an electro-optic device contained in a packaging case.
SOLUTION: The electro-optic device contained in the packaging case is composed of the electro-optic device (500) irradiated with incident projection light, a plate (610) arranged to face one surface of the electro-optic device and a cover (620) covering the electro-optic device and being in contact with the plate and is provided with the packaging case (601) housing the electro-optic device. The cover includes a cover main body (623) and a cooling air introducing part (622) and the cooling air introducing part has a taper part (622T) and a baffle plate (622P) to pass the cooling air sent toward the electro-optic device contained in the packaging case toward the cover main body part.
