Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rechargeable electrochemical battery by containing a specific lithium transient metal oxide or sulfide in an anode and a lithium metal oxide or sulfide compound in a cathode and providing a specific electrolyte between both parties.
CONSTITUTION: An anode is provided with a lithium transient metal oxide or sulfide compound, having [B2]X4n- spinel-type skeleton structure of A [B2]X4 spinel at least one part (A and B correspond to metal cations selected from Li, Ti, V, Mn, Fe, and Co, X, X corresponds to oxide or sulfur, n-corresponds to full charge of a structural unit [B2]X4 of a skeleton structure, and a transient metal cation in a fully disagreed state has an oxidization state of an average greater than +3 with respect to Ti, +3 with respect to V, +3.5 with respect to Mn, +2 with respect to Fe, and +2 with respect to Co). An electrolyte is a liquid containing electrically insulating lithium or electrically conducting polymer.
