Abstract:
To provide a wound type electrochemical device restrained in characteristics fluctuations and a manufacturing method for the same.
An electrochemical device comprises auxiliary metal parts T1 and T2 provided solidly around the axes of winding at one end along the axes of winding of an anode electrode A and a cathode electrode K and a separator S1 interposed between the anode electrode A and the cathode electrode K. A partial area other than the auxiliary metal parts T1 and T2 is removed by etching or cutting to make it a thinned area TNR. An active material layer AE1 is formed over the surface of the thinned area TNR.
