Abstract:
To provide an electrochemical water treatment method capable of efficiently performing sterilization of circulation water such as cooling tower chilled water and pool water.
The circulation water including oxo acid ion is electrochemically treated by using an electrolyzer 3 with an electrode having a conducive diamond anode 1. Micro-organisms in the circulation water is brought into contact with the anode and cathode 2 and are directly sterilized, moreover, peroxo acid produced by effective anode oxidation by means of the conductive diamond anode performs the sterilization of the microorganisms secondarily and the efficient sterilization of the circulation water is realized.
