Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode for a battery capable of being used under high-output conditions, and capable of ensuring both electronic conduction and lithium ion conduction sufficiently.
The method for manufacturing an electrode for a battery comprises the steps of: preparing active material slurry containing an active material; preparing a collector; forming a thin coating by applying the active material slurry to the surface of the collector; forming a thick coating by applying the active material slurry to a portion to be a high density area which has a relatively high density in the surface of the coating; and pressing the whole coating.
