Abstract:

To enhance the productivity by shortening a treatment period of time for a discharge surface treatment while avoiding a fracture of an electrode 3 which may occur when the electrode is held by an electrode holder 1 for the discharge surface treatment.

This electrode holder has: an O-ring 19 which contacts an inner circumferential surface of the end of the electrode 3 arranged inside a set part 13 of the main body 7 of the holder; and an electrode cramp 21 which presses the inner circumferential surface of the end of the electrode 3 toward the set part 13 side of the main body 7 of the holder through the O-ring 19 detachably provided in the center of the set part 13 of the main body 7 of the holder.
