Abstract:

To provide a hydrocarbon electrolyte polymer composite which can obtain a high output when used in a fuel cell which uses for example a hydrocarbon electrolyte membrane, especially in a catalyst electrode of the fuel cell which supplies liquid fuel, and can obtain an excellent bonding property between the hydrocarbon electrolyte membrane and the catalyst electrode, and has a high solubility resistance against the liquid fuel.

The electrolyte composite contains a hydrocarbon electrolyte polymer and a solvent of viscosity 1.5cP or more and an average diameter of micelle particles observed in the electrolyte composite is less than 50 nm.
