Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying an electrolytic solution containing tin, which can safely and effectively separate and recover tin contained in a copper electrolytic solution.SOLUTION: A purifying method includes steps of: contacting the electrolytic solution containing the tin obtained in a copper electrolysis refining step to a chelate resin having a phosphonic acid and a sulfonic acid as functional groups to adsorb metal ions in the electrolytic solution to the chelate resin; washing the chelate resin by water; and passing an eluent through the chelate resin to elute the metal ions from the chelate resin.
