To provide an electrolytic water generator where the electrolytic operation of an electrolytic water generating mechanism 10 is started based on a water level detected signal from a lower limit water level sensor 23 arranged at a water storage tank 20, the feed of electrolytically generated water to the water storage tank 20 is started, also, the electrolytic operation of the electrolytic water generating mechanism 10 is stopped based on a water level detected signal from an upper limit water level sensor 22, and the feed of the electrolytically generated water to the water storage tank 20 is stopped, by which the feed of a surplus amount of electrolytically generated water to the water storage tank 20 is prevented in the case of generating an abnormal state that the upper limit water level sensor 22 is not operated.

The electrolytic water generator is provided with a flow rate detection sensor 16 of detecting the feeding flow rate of the electrolytically generated water to be fed to the water storage tank 20 is detected, and is output to a controller 30 as a flow rate detected signal. The controller 30 stops the electrolytic operation of the electrolytic water generating mechanism 10 started based on the water level detected signal from the lower limit water level sensor 23 when the measured value of the feeding flow rate of the electrolytically generated water based on the flow rate detected signal from the flow rate detection sensor 16 reaches a set prescribed flow rate, and stops the feed of the electrolytically generated water to the water storage tank 20.
