Abstract:
To provide an electrolytic apparatus that can improve the controllability of electrolysis reaction of an electrolyte when a voltage is applied to between electrolytic electrodes.SOLUTION: An electrolytic apparatus 1 is an electrolytic apparatus 1 for producing an aqueous hypochlorous acid by electrolyzing an electrolyte 9 of aqueous chloride solution, comprising: an anode 5a; a cathode 5b arranged facing the anode 5a; and a power supply 2 for applying an electric current to between the anode 5a and the cathode 5b, both of which are arranged in the aqueous chloride solution. The power supply 2 is controlled so that the current between the anode 5a and the cathode 5b is stopped, based on the amount of variation of a voltage generated between the anode 5a and the cathode 5b per unit time when the current is applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
