Abstract:
To provide a gas meter which allows the used amount of gas to be read regardless of an installation environment such as a bright or dark place.SOLUTION: Rear mounting chip LEDs 111, 112 are provided on a surface of a base plate 103, which is opposite to a space existing between an LCD 104 and the base plate 103, so that light propagates a distance between the LCD 104 and the base plate 103. A range of irradiating the LCD 104 is expanded, thus seven-segment display of the seven or eight-figure used amount of gas can be read regardless of an installation environment such as a bright or dark place.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
