Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic contactor which can improve releasing performance when fixed contacts and movable contacts are fused.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic contactor comprises: a contact mechanism 2 having fixed contacts 26 and movable contacts 24; and a movable mechanism 3 having a columnar movable core 32 connected to the movable contacts 24, a fixed core 31 arranged in a height direction of the movable core 32, a spool 36 covering lateral faces of the movable core 32 and the fixed core 31, and guide means for rotating the movable core 32 in a circumferential direction. The guide means has: a groove 32a which is formed on any one of a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 32 of the movable core and a cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the spool 36; and a fixing pin 36a which is formed on any one of a cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the spool 36 and a cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the movable core 32, and which is engageable with the groove 32a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
