To provide an electromagnetic induction heater that uniformly heats the whole lower face of a food cooking griddle or a food baking mold even if the food cooking griddle or the food baking mold has a large rectangular planar-profile shape.
The electromagnetic induction heater (H) comprises: one electromagnetic induction heating coil (C) for heating a food cooking griddle or a food baking mold (M); and a coil support frame (F) for fixedly supporting the heating coil (C). The electromagnetic induction heating coil (C) is composed of a plurality of small spiral coils (C1), (C2), (C3), and (C4) in which the spiral directions of the coils adjacent to each other are opposite to each other and respectively which are wound into an almost square spiral state. The electromagnetic induction heating coil is formed into a rectangular or square planar-profile shape as a whole so as to have the size almost corresponding to the size of the griddle or the mold (M), heated by the electromagnetic induction heating coil, by connecting the plurality of small spiral coils in series or by connecting them in parallel. Each magnetic core rod (11) is vertically insertedly erected at the center of each spiral coil (C1), (C2), (C3), and (C4) so as to be freely ascendably/descendably adjusted.
