To provide a cooking vessel in which uncooked or cooked food is stored and can be cooked or heated as it is by an electromagnetic plate or a microwave oven and the food can be frozen and kept while being stored as needed.
In the electromagnetic plate and a cooking vessel 11 corresponding to the microwave oven, the cooking vessel is composed of a vessel body 12 formed from a synthetic resin, a lid member 13 and a metallic basket 14 or a plate 34 having a plurality of small pores 35 arranged within the vessel body 12. In the vessel body 12, an upper edge 15 having a U-shaped cross section is formed, and a rugged portion 20 for forming a circulation path is provided in a part of the upper edge 15. In the lid member 13, a peripheral edge 25 having a U-shaped cross section is formed, and an expanded portion 30 for forming the circulation path is provided in a part of the peripheral edge 25. Then, the application position of the lid member 13 is selected with respect to the vessel body 12 to communicate or seal the circulation path between the side of the vessel body and the side of the lid member.
