Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic powder clutch provided with powder excellent in a magnetic characteristic, oxidation resistance and wearing resistance.
SOLUTION: In an electromagnetic powder clutch formed by inputting powder 7 between a yoke 2 and a rotor 4 for joining the yoke 2 to the rotor 4 by carrying a current, each particle constituting the powder 7 is formed of an alloy constituted by 0.05 to 0.3 wt.% Al, 0.4 to 0.9 wt.% Cr, 0.5 to 6 wt.% Si, 20 to 50 wt.% Co, the rest of Fe and inevitable impurities.
