Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay that optimizes an operating characteristic without causing a cost increase.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay 1 according to the invention includes: a contact part having fixed contacts 2 and movable contacts 3; and a drive part 7 having a movable core 6 coupled to the movable contacts 3 via an axial core 5, and fixed cores 10-12, and configured to drive the movable core 6. Each of the fixed cores 10-12 has a plate-shaped member 12 positioned between the contact part and the drive part 7 and provided with a through hole 121 through which the axial core 5 passes. The movable core 6 has a projecting portion 6a projecting in a direction opposite to the plate-shaped member 12. The plate-shaped member 12 has a recessed portion 12a opposite to the projecting portion 6a and shaped correspondingly to the projecting portion 6a.
