PURPOSE: To atomize fuel with a simple construction and improve injection quantity accuracy by providing a fuel branching element and a swirl force generating element sequentially on the down side of a sheet face opened and closed by a ball valve.

CONSTITUTION: In an electromagnetic type fuel injection valve in which a magnetic circuit is formed by electrification to an exciting coil and a plunger 4 is sucked to a core 3 side against a spring 9, and a ball valve 12 integrally provided on the plunger through a rod 6 is separated from a sheet face 11 and fuel injection is made, a swirl force generating element 30 made of a fuel branching element 29 and a sintered material is mounted near to the down side of the sheet face 11. The fuel branching element 29 is made to be a disc provided with a notch 40 in shape, and two fuel passages 32 deviated to a long axis are provided. The swirl force generating element 30 has two slits 33 eccentric to the geometric center, and these slits 33 are matched to the fuel passages 32 and communicated to an orifice 34.
