Abstract:
To provide materials for an electron emitter, such as fluorescent character display tubes, displays, X-ray tubes or the like and electron beam application devices for these.
By forming a high-density electron emission at low-voltage, applied by forming >CH-coupling group with hydrogen added to carbon nanotube or grid carbon of graphite crystal of carbon film. Furthermore, a columnar part electrically connecting an electron emitter layer and a lower electrode is to be of a complex structure of carbon and metal, thereby restraining the deterioration of conductivity due to ion bombardment.
