To provide an imaging apparatus capable of acquiring position and time information from a GPS at a high probability while securing the degree of freedom of appearance design without having a user cover a reception part with a hand during GPS reception by facilitating electrical connection and making it easy for the user to recognize the position of a GPS reception part, in the imaging apparatus provided with the GPS reception part.
In the imaging apparatus having an exterior cover formed of a material which easily shields radio waves on a product top surface, a hole is formed at a part of the exterior cover, a different cover is formed of a material which does not easily shield radio waves, and the GPS reception part is provided under the different cover. At least a part at the imaging device holding side of the different cover is projected more than the exterior cover. At least a part of the different cover is made to serve as a light guiding member. A light emitting part is mounted to a substrate to which the GPS reception part is mounted, and the light of the light emitting part is made incident on the light guide part. A detection part is provided, and when the different cover is pressurized, the pressurization is detected.
