To provide an electronic beam sterilization system for appropriately treating ozone while surely preventing impurities from being mixed in.
The electronic beam sterilization system is provided with an introduction chamber, a pre-sterilization chamber, a sterilization chamber where electronic beam sterilization is performed, a rinsing chamber where air blow in a bottle is performed, a filling chamber where contents are filled in the bottle, and a capper chamber where a cap is mounted on the bottle in an order from the upstream side of the flow of the bottle. For the pressures of the respective chambers, the relation of the filling chamber > the capper chamber = the sterilization chamber > the rinsing chamber > the pre-sterilization chamber < the introduction chamber is held. Since the air of the filling chamber flows toward the outside of the filling chamber, the sterility condition of the filling chamber is maintained most strictly. The air from the downstream side exit port of the filing chamber and the sterilization chamber gathers in the rinsing chamber. The ozone generated in a sterilization process and the ozone driven out of the bottle in a rinsing process are buffered to the rinsing chamber, changed to oxygen and then discharged into the atmosphere. The ozone which flows in from the upstream side exit of the sterilization chamber to the pre-sterilization chamber is retained in the pre-sterilization chamber where the pressure is lower than the one in the introduction chamber, turned to oxygen and then discharged into the atmosphere.
