To provide a new electronic book which uses using a new double-sided light-emitting display device.
The electronic book has first to fourth display surfaces, including a first single-sided display panel, having the first display surface, a second single-sided light emitting panel having the fourth display surface, and a double-sided light emitting panel having the second and third display surfaces. The double-sided light-emitting panel is inserted between the first single-sided light-emitting panel and the second single-sided light-emitting panel and is placed so that, when the electronic book is closed, the first display surface and the second display surface face each other, as well as, the third display surface and the fourth display surface oppose to each other. The substrates used for the first and second display panels are made of glass, and the substrate used for the third display panel is a film substrate.
