PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the practicality of a receipt by recording informatoin related to taking instruction on the receipt to issue it and automatically recording directions such as taking way and adverse reactions of a medicine on the receipt to issue it.
SOLUTION: When the patient coda of a patient is inputted from a clinical chart to a POS terminal, patient personal information set in a patient master file 41 of a host device 16 is transmitted to the POS terminal and is not only stored in a patient memory but also displayed on a display device 19. Next, when the medicine code of a medicine is inputted to the POS terminal, medicine information corresponding to this medicine code set to a medicine master file 42 of the host device 16 is transmitted to the POS terminal and is stored in a medicine memory. The sale price and the department name of the medicine are displayed on the display device 19 based on medicine information stored in the medicine memory, and the deposited amount of money and the amount of change are printed on a receipt form together with the classification name and use information of the medicine by a printer 20.
