Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy without elongating the measuring time as compared with that of the current thermometer. CONSTITUTION:This electronic clinical thermometer consists of a first temperature sensor 1 which measures the temperature rising from ordinary temperatures, a second temperature sensor 2 which measures the temperature falling from heated high temperatures, a heater 3 which heats the second temperature sensor 2 before the body temperature is measured, a thermal insulator 4 which thermally shuts the first, second temperature sensors 1, 2 and the heater 3, a control device 8 which determines the method, and obtains a measuring value by mixing the measured values of the rising and falling temperatures with a fixed rate, and a display device 10 for indicating the measured value.
