Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting device capable of reducing amount of power consumption compared with the conventional and a method of controlling electric power supply which is executed in this electronic component mounting device.
SOLUTION: In this method, a power source for driving and a power source for controlling are independently connected/disconnected to/from component supply driving parts 107A and 107B for driving component supply devices 101A and 101B, a component transfer driving device 108 for driving a component transfer device 102, and a substrate positioning driving device 109 for driving a substrate positioning device 103, respectively, based on instructions of a control device 104. The control device detects the generation of conditions for independently stopping each constitution part of a electronic component mounting device 100 to the power supply for a driving device during stoppage is cut off. Thus, wasteful power consumption is prevented and production operation can be continued with irreducible minimum power.
