To provide a stable steering feeling of a steering handle based on the high, middle, slow speed of a vehicle and to insure the steering stability.
An electronic controlled steering system and a control method thereof, may be applied to an electronic steering controller to determine the compensated inclination of current to the vehicle speed during running, based on the speed signal from a speed sensor 22, to determine the compensated inclination of current to the steering absolute angle along with the change in steering angle from the steering angle sensor 23, to calculate steering angular velocity by measuring pulse timing of the steering angle signal from the steering angle sensor 23, to determine the compensated inclination of current associated with the steering angular velocity based on the speed. By summing these compensated currents, and PID computing together with the external throttle voltage and the feedback current from an electronic steering control valve, a compensated current to supply to the electronic steering control valve is determined.
