To provide an electronic equipment assembling device and an electronic equipment assembling method capable of enhancing an insertion success rate of a cable into a connector.SOLUTION: When a cable 14 is inserted into a connector 16 to assemble electronic equipment 2, the cable 14 is sandwiched and held from side edge sides by an opening/closing operation of two chuck members 54, and then, an upper surface of the cable 14 is pressed from above by two pressing members 57, and a front end part 14S of the cable 14 is inserted into the connector 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
