Abstract:

To effectively cool an electronic device.

A temperature predictor 150 predicts the temperature of the electronic device 200 after a prescribed period of time, and the speed of temperature variation from the operating state of loading. A selector 140 instructs control to either or both of a nozzle control unit 120 and an electric fan control unit 130 based on the prediction result of the temperature predictor 150. The nozzle control unit 120 drives a jet stream cooling apparatus 300 by sending a control signal to a nozzle unit 102 according to a control signal from the selector 140. The electric fan control unit 130 drives an electric fan by sending a control signal to an electric fan unit 106 according to the control signal from the selector 140. It is preferable that the selector 140 selects the electric fan when the predicted speed of the temperature variation exceeds a prescribed threshold, and selects the jet stream cooling apparatus 300 when the predicted speed of the temperature variation does not exceed the prescribed threshold.
