To avoid the updating of the information of a storage medium by information which is not normal, or to avoid the reading of information which is not normal when the information is updated through an RFID communication function, or information written in the storage medium is read through the RFID communication function in an electronic device which is motion-controlled based on the information written in the storage medium.
This electronic device (100) is motion-controlled based on the information written in the storage medium. The electronic device (100) is equipped with an RFID tag which stores information, a reading means (202) which reads the information stored in the RFID tag after the power source of the electronic device is turned on, and an updating means (303). In this case, the updating means (303) updates the information written in the storage medium (304) by the read information when the read information does not agree with information which has already been written in the storage medium (304), and also, the read information is normal.
