Abstract:
To provide a browsing electronic apparatus for improving visibility of electronic documents.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a character string input device for inputting a first character string constituted by respective clauses having formats; a tree structure input device for inputting a first tree structure having a leaf section and a node section for each clause; a function input device for inputting a function which gives a first format change to each leaf section with arguments of each leaf section and each node section; an arithmetic operation device which applies a first function to each leaf section and each node section, obtains a second tree structure in which the first format change is given to each leaf section, and obtains a second character string in which a first format change is given to each clause corresponding to each leaf section; and a display device for displaying the second character string. The node section has a second format change. The second tree structure has an exclusive condition that there is no node having the second format change in a subordinate of each node section having second format change information. The first format change of each leaf controlled by a node having the second format change depends on the second format change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
