Abstract:
To enable the number of downtown communication terminals that discover a tag to be increased and tag discovery probability improved while reducing the processing burden of a search cooperator.SOLUTION: A location search system 1 includes a communication terminal 30 for receiving a tag signal that is transmitted by a tag 10. The communication terminal 30 comprises: a detection unit for executing a detection process of detecting the location of the communication terminal 30 when the holder of the communication terminal 30 leaves home; a reception unit for performing a reception process of receiving a tag signal transmitted from the tag 10; a notification unit for notifying a server 40 about the tag ID that is included in the tag signal received from the tag 10 and the location information of the communication terminal 30 at the time the tag signal was received; and a control unit for causing the reception unit to start a reception process and the notification unit to start a notification process when a detection process by the detection unit begins, and causing the reception unit to start a reception process and the notification unit to terminate the notification process when the detection process by the detection unit is terminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
