PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic dictionary relevant information providing server for receiving the order and producing an electronic dictionary in which the dictionary data are incorporated according to the order from a user, and to allow the user to easily select the dictionary contents suitable for the user by looking up contents in the dictionary as a trial on the Internet.
SOLUTION: When a plurality of candidate dictionaries for trial are designated by a trial processing in accordance with the operation of a "trial" button, and an arbitrary word (keyword) is input to look up the dictionary as a trial on a dictionary individual-selection image plane on which titles of dictionary contents by each genre are listed up, in accordance with a Web page of an electronic dictionary order receiving server 10 accessed from a user terminal 20, the presence or absence of retrieved word in each of the dictionaries designated from the order receiving server 10, the number of words included in the contents of explanation, and the contents of explanation are acquired and displayed as result data of the retrieval, and for example, the dictionary including the largest number of retrieved words is selected, recommended and displayed as an optimum dictionary.
