Abstract:

To prevent processing different from a user's intention from being executed due to a change in setting information.

When the execution of normal processing, such as copying and facsimile transmission is instructed, whether the execution of processing for changing setting information that is referred to when the normal processing is executed is reserved or not is determined (72). When setting change processing is reserved, whether setting information to be referred to by the normal processing whose execution is instructed is changed or not by setting change processing whose execution is reserved is determined (84 and 86) on the basis of the type of setting information to be changed and the processing type of the normal processing instructed to be executed, and when the setting information is changed, it is notified that the normal processing whose execution is instructed can not be accepted (88).
