To solve the following problems: the conventional pickup unit for electronic guitar can select only timbres of a single pickup or a limited combination of pickups using three-point to five-point type switches; and an electric guitar having a switch capable of selecting a phase can not output the timbre of Gibson tonality.

A dual-coil bridge humbucker pickup with an intermediate tap, a center single-coil pickup, and a dual-coil fingerplate humbucker pickup with an intermediate tap are connected to five six-polarity three-position (6P ON-OFF-ON) switches and two six-polarity two-position (6P ON-ON) switches to select a phase and Fender/Gibson tonality, so that 506 kinds of timbre can be output.
