To provide an electronic information delivery system that can refuse the delivery of electronic information which an information supplier supplies in accordance with the desire of the user of a delivery destination.
The system is provided with an electronic post-office box installed at every user for receiving electronic information, a contents managing file to which electronic information supplied from the information supplier is registered, a means for receiving electronic information and a delivery condition supplied from the information supplier and registering them in a contents file, a profile information managing file to which profile information of the user is recorded, a delivery refusal information managing file to which delivery refusal information of the user is recorded and a contents delivery means for extracting the user matched with the delivery condition on a profile informed from the information supplier, selecting the user whose delivery refusal information is not set in the delivery refusal information managing file in the extracted users and delivering electronic information to the electronic post-office box which the selected user possesses.
