Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key system allowing on-vehicle equipment to be in an available condition, even when running is initiated immediately after an engine is started.
SOLUTION: A navigation ECU 38 and an airbag ECU 39 are connected in parallel to a battery 25. A connection switch 40 is interposed between the navigation ECU 38 and the airbag ECU 39, and the battery 25. The connection switch 40 is turned on when code collation by a smart ECU 16 agrees, and puts the navigation ECU 38, the airbag ECU 39 and the battery 25 in a connected condition. At about the same time when door lock in the vehicle 3 is released, electric power supply to the navigation ECU 38 and the airbag ECU 39 is initiated.
