PURPOSE: To provide the watch which is capable of controlling a plurality of other apparatus by generating and releasing the ultrasonic wave signals having been coded with specific codes according to the operations of a keyboard thereby providing control information.

CONSTITUTION: When a keyboard 3 such as for time correction, etc. is operated, a memory 8 is addressed by the signals corresponding to the key operations through a waveform forming circuit 6 by way of a signal changeover circuit 7 which is changed over by means of a safety switch 4. Then, the code signals corresponding to the key operations are read out from the memory 8 and are synthesized with the specified frequency signal from various reference pulse generating circuits 14 in a synthesizing circuit 20, and the ultrasonic wave signals having been coded according to the key operations are released from an electro-mechanical acoustic transducer 2. External apparatus such as music boxes, radios, televisions, etc. are controlled by said released ultrasonic wave signals, thus controlling of a plurality of other apparatus is accomplished by the electronic watch.
