Abstract:

To provide a constitution of an electrooptical device in which slurring and variance of a display color due to spacers can be reduced.

This electrooptical device 100 is constituted by arranging an electrooptical material 167 between a couple of substrates 120 and 140 and arraying a plurality of kinds of pixels R, G, and B showing different hue repeatedly in specified color array pattern, and on at least one substrate 120 between the couple of substrates, spacers 125 which protrude toward the other substrate 140 are provided. Here, at least two or more kinds of pixels among the plurality of kinds of pixels R, G, and B are arrayed repeatedly in color array pattern cycles in a specified array direction X of hte specified color array pattern, and the spacers 125 are arrayed in formation cycles different from the color array pattern cycles in the specified array direction X.
