Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07319195
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily form a transparent electric conductive layer on the surface of the substrate of an electrophotographic photoreceptor by using an electric conductive material soluble in a solvent.

CONSTITUTION: An electric conductive layer and a photosensitive layer are successively laminated on a transparent insulating substrate to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The electric conductive layer is made of a doped electric conductive polymer, the surface resistivity of the layer on the photosensitive layer side is 106-1012Ω/sq. and that on the substrate side is ≤106Ω/sq. The electric conductive polymer is polyaniline soluble in a solvent and the electric conductive layer is preferably formed by doping the whole of a film of the electric conductive polymer formed by coating so that the surface resistivity is regulated to ≤106Ω/sq. and then de-doping the surface layer.
