Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61261750
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a photographing process sharply by forming a photo-conductive layer and a transparent supporting body on the recessed surface side and projected surface side of a photosensitive body having an arc-like section respectively, arranging a transparent electrode between said two substances, adhering toner to the surface of the photoconductive layer and irradiating light from the back of the transparent supporting body.

CONSTITUTION: Electrically charged toner 4 is uniformly adhered to the recessed surface side of the photodetective body 1 having the arc-like section. Recording paper 2 opposed to the recessed surface side of the photosensitive body 1 is electrically charged with the same polarity as the electric charge of the toner 4. Then, the projected surface side of the photosensitive body 1 is optically scanned through a mirror surface 5 to be reciprocally rotated on the projected surface side in a sine vibration mode. Thus, the irradiated part of the photosensitive 5 is reduced at its electric resistance and the electric charge of the toner on the part is discharged or the toner is charged with electric charge having the reverse polarity to said electric charge. The Coulomb force of suction is applied between the toner and the recording paper 2 and the toner is transferred to the recording paper 2. Consequently, the formation, development and transfer of an electrostatic latent image are integrated to one process and primary charging and cleaning can be omitted, so that the capacity of receiving potential is not required and the cost of the photosensitive body can be reduced.
