Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and durability by incorporating a specified 1,2-ethylene derivative in a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer formed on the conductive substrate contains at least one of the 1,2-ethylene derivatives represented by formula I in which A is an atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 6-membered ring; B is optionally substituted phenyl, lower alkyl, or H; and each of R and R' is H, methoxy, methyl, or halogen, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be high in sensitivity and acceptance potential, superior in repetion stability and high in durability.
